  • Online applications are invited in the prescribed format for the following assignment which is a purely time-bound research project undertaken by NIT Jalandhar Institute.
  • Name Of The Post – Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Temporary Assignment
  • Total Vacancy – 01 Post
  • Research Project - Modelling And Analysis Of Quantum Effects For Sub-10 Node Nanowire Based Devices
  • Principle Investigator – Dr. Ashish Raman
  • Sponsoring Agency - SERB-DST
  • Department: Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Project Tenure - 03 Years
  • Assignment Tenure: Initially for one year. It can be extendable annually till the completion of the project, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds released by sponsoring agencies (Purely temporary basis).
  • Job Description: To perform work assigned & assist the PI in various Phases of the research project
  • Salary/Consolidate Monthly Fellowship: INR 31,000/- per month + HRA, or as per SERB rules
  • Educational Qualifications and experience: B.E/B. Tech (ECE or Relevant Branch) and ME / M. Tech in VLSI / Microelectronics / Nanoelectronics / Electronic System/ ECE and related areas with first division. The candidate must have qualified for GATE during his or her academic career. Good knowledge is TCAD/VLSI design tools and project domain is desirable. Additional Terms and conditions as per SERB Guidelines for JRF.
  • Other Benefits - The selected candidate can be registered for Ph.D. admissions at NIT Jalandhar as per the institute norms
