IIST Eligibility Criteria 2021

Educational Qualification :

For Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – M.E/M. Tech in RF & Microwave Engineering or equivalent areas with 2 years of experience in Antenna Design/Simulation & Measurements.

Desirable – Experience In Array Design, Ph.D. Candidates

  • For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – M.E/M. Tech in & Microwave Engineering or equivalent areas.

Desirable – Experience in Antenna Design OR

  • M. Sc in Physics/Astrophysics/Astronomy/Space Science
  • MS in Physics or equivalent
  • MS in Astronomy & Astrophysics
  • Similarly B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M. Tech degree in any discipline

Age limit : Candidate needs to be 35 years as on 12th April 2021 to be eligible for SRF and JRF Posts.

IIST Recruitment Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test followed by a personal interview
  • Candidates who possess the required qualifications, skills, and experience will be able to appear for the written test and interview.
  • Selected candidates (if non-Ph.D) can register themselves for the IIST Ph.D. programme, once they meet the eligibility conditions for Ph.D. admission in IIST.
  • Candidates should have done M.E/M. Tech through GATE.
