IIT, Kharagpur had made available the GATE 2022 application form date on the official site: gate.iitkgp.ac.in. GATE 2022 application form was released on September 2 in online mode. The GATE Registration last date was Sep 24, 2021. To get access to the GATE 2022 registration link, candidates had to register themselves on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal.
The process of the GATE 2022 application form included GATE exam registration, form fill up, upload documents & photographs, and paying the application fee for the examination. The mode of GATE 2022 will be Computer Based Test (CBT) and the duration will be for 180 minutes.
There will be a total of 29 subjects/papers for GATE 2022
There will be two sections – General Aptitude (GA) and Selected Subject
Type of Questions - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions
Number Of Questions - There will be a total of 65 questions in which 10 would be from General Aptitude (GA) while the remaining 55 will be from the subject chosen by the candidates
Marking Scheme – Each Question will carry 1 mark and 2 marks

Visit the official GOAPS website available on gate.iitkgp.ac.in (IIT Kharagpur)
Click on ‘Login’ using enrollment number, email ID and password

Make the necessary correction available on the already filled GATE form 2022
Pay the requisite fee amount and click on the ‘Submit’ tab
Take a printout has to be taken for future reference
