IIT Kharagpur has released the GATE 2022 scorecard online on its official site: gate.iitkgp.ac.in on 22 March 2022. Candidates can download the scorecards using their enrolment ID and password. Earlier, IIT Kharagpur had released the GATE 2022 result on 17 March 2022.
Nearly 7.5 lakhs+ candidates had appeared for GATE 2022 and mere 1,26,000 lakhs have qualified for the GATE 2022 exam. Out of the candidates who qualified almost 98,000 were male and 28000 were female candidates who have cleared the GATE exam 2022.
About GATE Scorecard 2022
Candidates who had appeared for the GATE 2022 exam will be able to download their scorecards from the official site by logging in with their credentials. GATE exam was conducted between 5-13 February 2022 across various centers in India. The tentative answer sheets were released on 21 February 2022 and the objections were accepted till 25 February 2025. The final results were released on 17 March 2022.
GATE scorecard which was released on 22 March will be valid for a period of three years from the date of GATE results announcements/ The scorecard can be downloaded for free until 31 May 2022. After that, it can be downloaded until 1 January 2023 by paying a fee of ₹500.
GATE scorecard should have been kept properly till further counselling and for future purposes. GATE scorecards will help aspirants to secure admissions to M. Tech courses and doctoral programs. The candidates should know that no hard copy via post will be sent regarding the scorecard. So, you need to download it in a digital format.

How To Calculate GATE 2022 Score?
The actual marks of the GATE 2022 candidates will be calculated on the basis of 100 marks for 65 questions in MCQ format. For every wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1/3rd mark assigned to that particular question.
The GATE score card is prepared on the basis of raw marks or normalized marks. The raw marks are used for those papers which are held only in one session and the normalization of raw marks is done for those subject papers which were held in multiple sessions.
When you normalize the GATE raw score, which is out of 100, the IITs ensure that no candidate faces any adverse impact and the level of difficulty in both the sessions is brought under the same unit.
