It's all out! The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has released the GATE 2022 Exam results on Thursday, 17 March 2022. Candidates can visit the official site: IITKharagpur to check their results, using their GATE 2022 login credentials – registration ID/email address/enrolment ID and password. The examination was conducted between 5-13 February 2022 for various subjects across different centres in India.
IIT Kharagpur will release the scorecard on the GOAPS portal and the applicants will be able to check their scorecard from 21 March 2022 through the login credentials. The validity of the GATE scorecard will be of three years and it reflects the relative performance of the candidate level in a particular subject.

The overall passing percentage for the GATE 2022 examination was 17.82% and there were 98732 male and 28081 female candidates who appeared for the GATE 2022 exam. Around 7 lakhs+ candidates had appeared for the GATE 2022 out of which 126813 have been qualified.
GATE result 2022 is announced on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in their respective field papers. The marks scored in the examination are valid for three years from the result declaration date. The final GATE 2022 Answer Key will also be released by IIT Kharagpur. You need to know that only those candidates who apply for the exam will receive the download scorecard link for GATE 2022.

Once you click on result link, you will be redirected to a new page
Login in with your Enrollment Id/Email address & password.
The result will be displayed on the computer screen.
Take a printout of the result for any further reference

How marks will be calculated for GATE 2022 Results
After the answers are evaluated, the actual marks being obtained by the candidate will be considered for the GATE 2022 score. For multi-session papers (subjects), raw marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will get converted to normalized marks for that particular subject. Thus, raw marks (for single session papers) or normalized marks (for multi-session) are used to compute the GATE 2022 score, based on the qualifying marks.
About GATE 2022
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an exam that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science to secure admissions in Masters and Doctoral programs & recruitment in Public Sector Companies.
GATE 2022 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and six other Indian Institutes of Technology across Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee and Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru on behalf of the National Co-ordination Board – GATE, the Department of Higher Education, MoE, Govt. of India.
