About the University
The
University of Mumbai is located at M.G. Road, Mantralaya, Fort, Mumbai, and
Maharashtra – 400001. Mumbai University is around 161 years old. The University
is known to produce best results in India.
Initially,
the Mumbai University Fort concentrated on controlling teaching at the undergraduate level.
Later it took up research and the task of imparting instructions at the
Postgraduate level.
The
vision of Mumbai University is to remain always inclusive and quality
conscious. They believe that knowledge improves the quality of life and also
builds good character to improve society.
The Mumbai University Fort has its mission to provide a free and conducive atmosphere for
creative thinking and impart in-depth disciplinary knowledge with
interdisciplinary bandwidth to the learners.
