Candidates should have passed the 12th or its equivalent exam from a recognised board. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the core subjects with aggregate of 50% and anyone i.e. Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational as optional subjects in the qualifying exam. The percentage required to appear for B. Tech in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture & Ship Building, Instrumentation & Technology is 60% and for Polymer Science & Engineering it is 50%.
