Applied Mathematics 2 - Online Courses & Video Lectures

APPLIED MATHEMATICS- 2

v Objective:

Applied Mathematics-2 is a compulsory subject common for students from all branches of engineering in the second semester of their degree. The subject is included with an objective to help students find mathematical solutions to solve real-life engineering problems in the industry.

Applied Mathematics-2 is the continuation of the concepts in Applied Mathematics-1 and is used to solve day-to-day engineering problems by applying mathematical solutions. The concepts included in AM-2 are used while solving numerical problems and applied in various laws and theorems in different subjects of later years. This makes Applied Mathematics-2 an important subject which acts as the foundation for various concepts throughout the four engineering years.

v Syllabus:

The syllabus is divided into six modules

1)      Differential Equations of First Order and First Degree

2)      Linear Differential Equations with Constant Coefficients and Variable Coefficients of Higher Order

3)      Numerical Solution of Ordinary Differential Equations of First Order and First Degree, Beta and Gamma Function

4)      Differentiation under Integral Sign, Numerical Integration and Rectification

5)      Double Integration

6)      Triple Integration and Applications of Multiple Integrals

The subject teaches students to apply concepts of first order first degree differential equations, higher order linear differential equations, beta and gamma functions, double integration and triple integration to different coordinate systems to the engineering problems.

v Study Material:

Students often refer to reference books by G.V. Kumbhojkar and A.K. Pathak in order to prepare for this subject. But completely understanding mathematical concepts by just directly referring to a book is easier said than done. That is where online tutorials and videos play a major role. It is comparatively easy for students to understand and learn subjects in video format! Unlike traditional printed books, online tutorials are always updated to provide relevant and up-to-date study material. Ekeeda is the most trusted educational platform when it comes to online engineering courses and tutorials of all subjects for different engineering branches. These video courses are designed to ensure the quality in terms of understanding the technical concepts in order to help the students to confidently solve problems and write their semester exams.

v Course Details:

Ekeeda offers Engineering Mathematics-2 course for first-year students at just Rs. 1500/- with the entire syllabus of Applied Mathematics- 2. Many students have an inexplicable fear of mathematics. The course is especially designed to help students confront their fear of mathematics.

The course contains:

ü  Over 100+ lectures

ü  17+ hours of video

The modules are divided into 7 chapters as follows:

1)      Differential Equations of First Order and First Degree

2)      Linear Differential Equations with Constant Coefficient

3)      Beta and Gamma Function

4)      Differentiation under Integral Sign

5)      Rectification

6)      Double Integrals

7)      Numerical Integration

Each chapter is divided into smaller sub-topics with each video 3-15mins in length so that it is convenient for students to break down the topics and understand them in a more comprehensive manner. The videos are highly engaging and offer the best learning experience to students.

The online tutorials and video lectures are easily available on Ekeeda.com for students. We also have our engineering app with access to all the study material from the best faculties. Ekeeda offers special combo packages for students on study material and courses for all subjects of an entire semester. This is done with the objective to provide the students with a chance to improve their technical aptitude along with preparing them for their engineering exams. We are making calculated efforts to enhance online engineering courses in India by means of our dedicated lectures and tutorials.
