In this phase Testing is considered as a process and it is quantified.
Reviews at all development process phases are now considered/recognized as testing/quality control activities.
Extension of V-model is used to support the implementation of this phase.
Here,test cases from all the different projects are collected and placed in a repository for the purpose of test case reuse and regression testing.
Based on the type of defects we are given a severity level.
Some of the deficiencies occurred during the test process due to lack of a defect prevention technology.
