Eligibility Criteria For NIT Calicut Recruitment 2021
An online interview for the engagement of Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department Electronics & Communication Engineering, NIT Calicut has been scheduled to be conducted on 29 October 2021.
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Appointment Duration: Initially up to March 27, 2022 (on contract basis) and may be extended on the basis of the performance of the candidate and project extension.
Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST.
Project Name: “An Intelligent System for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Screening and Diagnosis
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics & Communication Engineering and other related branches with marks not below 65% Or CGPA 6.5. GATE Score is mandatory. Candidates who have expertise in Image processing using C/C++/Python or JAVA programming/ JAVA Script are desirable.
Consolidated Monthly Fellowship: INR31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) per month (consolidated) + HRA (as per norms)
Selection Process For NIT Calicut Recruitment 2021
The selection will be based on either Written Exam/Interview or both. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via email and called for an online interview that will be held on 29 October 2021.
Application Procedure For NIT Calicut Careers
Interested candidates will have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as an e-mail to hodeced@nitc.ac.in with the subject “Application for JRF: DST-SERB-ROP”. The attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form. The interview will be conducted online, the date will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents, and photographs submitted.
NIT Calicut reserves the right to relax qualification and experience for candidates with exceptional credentials. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer if selected for the interview. The last date to receive the online application will be 27 October 2021 by 16 PM
