Develop A Good Preparation Strategy
Navneet Gangwar, who secured All India Rank 4 in GATE 2021 in Computer Science Engineering, scored 92 marks in the exam. He said, it's important to prepare a good strategy for the GATE examination, and more important is to execute it well. I would recommend all the aspirants to take the Ekeeda online mocks for GATE seriously and analyze the performance after every test and rectify their mistakes. Make sure you don't repeat them next time when you appear for mocks.
Revise Each & Every Topic/Sub Topic
Mere creating the revision notes won't help you clear the test. You need to revise them regularly. Read the revision notes on a weekly or fortnight basis to recall the concepts of every subject. Each time you revise the same topic/subtopic, your revision time should reduce to recall the concept only then you would be able to move in the preparation ahead. You can attempt mock tests or model/previous year question papers to recall the concepts. Self-practice on a daily basis for few hours and give as many online mocks as possible. Practicing GATE 2022 test series will improve your performance and measure your faults. The performance will depend on how much time is devoted to answering every question and how many questions you've attempted correctly.

Prof. Abhishek Barve, one of the top educators from IITs at Ekeeda who has helped hundreds of aspirants to clear GATE and even secure a merit spot says, "Self-Introspection and Gradual improvement will raise your standards". He recommends determining your strengths and weaknesses to prepare your learning strategy accordingly. Identify your opportunities (area of scoring) and threats to overcome before the BIG exam day. No matter you follow the end number of GATE books or study material but every individual will have their own unique style of learning or remembering things. So, create your own short notes and refer them in the last few days to recall concepts and give quick & accurate answers in the GATE examination.
Stick To Plan & Complete Syllabus
The first step would be to start with easy subjects and make sure you've cleared off every topic/subtopic. Most toppers suggest to begin with engineering mathematics & one technical subject. Don't overburden yourself with a particular subject or topic. Instead switch subjects alternate days so that you take a break from monotonous topics and recollect it well when you come back for studies. Read every topic to complete the entire subject. Make a revision note for each topic that should cover all important formulae, theorems, pie charts, differences, valuations, definitions, etc. Attempt as many quizzes/tests for every topic given in GATE books or online lectures. Clear your doubts through live sessions, group discussions, or toppers chats. Identify your weak areas and try to revise/practice these topics as much as possible. Start learning any topic, anytime!
